One of Kyoto's leading sake shops. Not much is on display in the shop itself, but a wide range is held in the storage space at the back, and telling them what you want gets it found for you. It regularly runs features on pesticide-free and reduced-pesticide rice sake, aged sake, and natural wine, and its Burgundy and Champagne selections are solid too. Enthusiasts and restaurant buyers alike come here.

How to buy

Rather than picking off the shelf, the way it works is to consult the staff and have bottles brought out from the back, so it helps to say specifically what you are looking for. Top premium labels such as Aramasa are allocated and not always in stock, and certain popular and limited bottles are limited to two per person. Mail-order shipping nationwide is also available.
