A five-minute walk from Kamata Station, this long-established shop of 84 years keeps over 10,000 items in cold storage at all times, including sake, wine, whisky, shochu and beer. At "Ura-Asahiya" in the back, a kakuuchi system where you buy dedicated coins and taste 36 kinds of sake from 200 yen a glass is popular. Reviews say it draws a full house on Sunday evenings.
