About

A neighborhood liquor specialist near Minowa Station, but with a broad range covering sake, shochu, wine, craft beer, and whisky. The sake is divided by region so it is easy to look through, and each label has a shelf card, which makes choosing easy on a first visit. The manager holds a JSA sommelier certification and a Sake Diploma, so advice here is well regarded, and there are also sake-related goods such as T-shirts and aprons, plus snacks.

How to buy

The strength is being able to drink at the kakuuchi counter for a fee before buying a bottle. On June 5, 2026 the kakuuchi space was renovated, with a register put inside so it is used like an ordinary restaurant, and beer or snacks not on the menu can be bought in the shop and consumed there. Sake and food start at 330 yen, other drinks at 440 yen. The old coins can still be used, and under the earlier system a 550 yen per-person charge and a two-hour all-you-can-drink course at 2,750 yen were mentioned. It is best seen as a shop for tasting and then choosing, rather than one with a points system or lottery sales for rare bottles, and payment options are broad, including cards, e-money, and QR payment.

Getting there

2 minutes on foot from Exit 3 of Minowa Station on the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line, and 5 minutes from Minowabashi Station on the Toden Arakawa Line. It is near the intersection of Meiji-dori and the Nikko Kaido, so it is easy to reach by train and easy to fit into a day in northeastern Tokyo. Weekdays are relatively quiet, and since the kakuuchi is standing-only, it suits a short tasting stop rather than a long stay.
