About

Founded in 1912, a long-established liquor store that has been in Ningyocho for over 110 years. A compact space is packed with 120 kinds of sake and 200 wines plus honkaku shochu and whisky, and the owner and his wife, both certified sommeliers, advise customers themselves. Their eye for quality is respected enough that nearby izakaya are said to look to this shop's selection.

How to buy

The stock centers on bottles the owner has tasted and chosen himself at tastings and similar events, and there is sometimes a shop-exclusive doburoku. An authorized dealer for Dassai.
