A long-established liquor store in Setagaya that still has a Showa-era atmosphere. As well as serving local residents it does a lot of wholesale to restaurants, and boxes waiting for delivery are often stacked inside. The sake selection is broad, covering not only Meimon Sakekai labels but also brands bought directly from breweries.

How to buy

It is said that famous labels can be bought at list price, though some premium items involve conditional or bundled sales. Payment used to center on cash and Pay services, but PayPay and credit cards have been accepted since April 2023. Famous labels such as Sharaku, Kokuryu, and Kubota depend on luck with deliveries, so stock is not guaranteed.

Getting there

A neighborhood specialist in the everyday area between Gotokuji and Kyodo. It is not a large store, but with restaurant wholesale and local demand there is usually activity.
