This pasteurized (hi-ire) version of Mutsu Hassen's popular black label junmai ginjo uses Hanafubuki rice polished to 55% at 16% ABV. A showy aroma drifts gently over well-balanced, gentle sweetness met by a quiet acidity, closing moderately fresh. Pair it with fruit, a light dessert, or white fish sashimi to bring out its soft sweetness.
