About this sake

Kokuryu Ran is produced by Kokuryu Shuzo, a sake brewery located in Eiheiji, Fukui Prefecture. Founded in 1804, the brewery uses subsoil water from the Kuzuryu River, fed by snowmelt from Mount Hakusan, for its brewing water. It is classified as an "other" (non-designated) grade of sake, outside the standard tokutei meisho categories.
