About this sake

Omine Shuzo is a sake brewery in Mine City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, near the Akiyoshidai karst plateau, revived in 2010 after more than fifty years of dormancy. This junmai ginjo, Ohmine 3grain Dewasansan, is brewed with Dewasansan rice, a variety developed in Yamagata Prefecture, milled to a seimaibuai of 50%. It shows a muscat-like sweet-tart profile with juicy, rice-forward flavor typical of the 3grain line. The brewery uses spring water from Bentenike for this seasonal release.
