About this sake

Sokaku Daiginjo is brewed by Kamotsuru Sake Brewing Co. in Saijo, Higashi-Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture. It is made entirely from Hiroshima-grown Yamada Nishiki rice milled down to a 32% seimai-buai, with an alcohol content of 16-17% and a nihonshu-do of +3.5. The sake shows a fruit-like, elegant aroma paired with a mellow, full-bodied palate, and it was served as the toasting sake at the working dinner of the G7 Foreign Ministers' Meeting held in Hiroshima in April 2016.
