About this sake

Kunishige is produced by Ayakiku Shuzo, a brewery founded in 1970 in Ayagawa, Kagawa Prefecture, and the brand takes its name from honorary toji Hiroaki Kunishige, who won gold at the National New Sake Awards twenty times. Brewed with subsoil water flowing from the Asan mountains, this junmai ginjo is milled to a rice-polishing ratio of 55%. It offers a soft umami balanced with acidity and a clean, crisp finish that makes it easy to drink alongside a meal. The Kunishige series is distributed only within Kagawa Prefecture.
