About this sake

A junmai ginjo brewed by Tsurunoe Shuzo in Aizuwakamatsu, Fukushima Prefecture, founded in 1794, using the Fukushima original rice Yume no Kaori and the prefecture's own yeast Utsukushima Yume Kobo. At a 55% rice polishing ratio, it has a sweet, fruity aroma and a clean rice umami, with a fresh finish that turns dry toward the end. It won the top prize in the junmai category at the 2014 Tohoku Sake Awards.
