텐부
니시 주조 주식회사 · 가고시마현
Nishi Shuzo in Kagoshima Prefecture is known for its Hozan sweet-potato shochu, and named this sake Tenbu in the belief that all natural elements and crops used in brewing are gifts from heaven. Classified as Junmai Ginjo, it is made from Yamada Nishiki rice polished to 50% and bottled at 15% alcohol. Its aroma shows pear, melon and white peach along with floral, peony-like tones and hints of cotton candy and banana, while the mid-palate carries umami with a creamy, rich structure. As a debut release, it was notably adopted for Japan Airlines' domestic first-class cabin.
