VEGA vol.1 (pasteurized) opens Abe Shuzo's '★' series, brewed with Koshitanrei rice from Kashiwazaki, Niigata. Because the brewing focuses on lactic acid, a firm, lactic-driven acidity is the defining trait, at 13% ABV. Designed to be enjoyed either chilled or warmed, it pairs well with tempura or rich dishes, where that acidity keeps things balanced.
