About this sake

Torai Junmai Ginjo comes from Rokka Shuzo, a brewery in Hirosaki, Aomori Prefecture, that launched this new brand after relocating its facility to the foot of Mount Iwaki in 2023. It is made from locally grown Hanafubuki rice polished to a 55% seimai-buai, using subsoil water from Mount Iwaki and yeast sourced from the Shirakami mountain range. The sake shows fruity aromas with a touch of sweetness, and its aroma opens up further when served in a wine glass, finishing with a clean, crisp aftertaste. As a junmai ginjo, it balances rice-derived umami with a refreshing finish.
