About this sake

Nabeshima is brewed by Fukuchiyo Shuzo in Kashima City, Saga Prefecture, using local water and rice from the area facing the Ariake Sea. It is a Junmai Daiginjo milled to a rice-polishing ratio of 45%, offering a balance of rice-derived umami and acidity along with a fragrant aroma and crisp, clean finish. The brand gained nationwide recognition after being named Champion Sake in the sake category of the International Wine Challenge (IWC) in 2011.
