About this sake

Koeigiku Shuzo is a brewery in Ogi City, Saga Prefecture, that revived a defunct kura in 2019 under a new owner from outside the industry, working with a brewmaster formerly of the Kikutaka brand in Aichi. Sunburst is a junmai sake, released as a seasonal summer product whose name plays on "san" (acid) and "burst," reflecting its acid-forward character. It carries a mild melon-like aroma with a sharp, clean acidity and a dry finish. Serving it on the rocks brings out the acidity even more distinctly.
