About this sake

Mimurosugi Junmai Daiginjo Yamadanishiki is brewed by Imanishi Shuzo in Miwa, Sakurai City, Nara Prefecture. Founded in 1660, the brewery is located near Omiwa Shrine, said to be Japan's oldest shrine, and uses spring water flowing from Mount Miwa, the shrine's sacred mountain, as its brewing water. Made with 100% Yamadanishiki rice milled down to 50%, this junmai daiginjo has a subdued, refined aroma with fresh rice-derived umami and a clean, crisp finish supported by clear acidity. The brand's guiding concept is 'drinking Miwa,' reflecting rice grown by local farmers along the same water source used for brewing.
