About this sake

A junmai brewed by Sakata Shuzo in Yamagata Prefecture from Yamada Nishiki grown in the Special A district of Hyogo Prefecture, polished to 70%, with an excellent balance of acidity, umami, and aroma that gives a calm taste one never tires of. Chilled it gives a young, sharp impression; warmed, the sweetness and umami come forward for a rounder flavor. It won a silver prize at SAKE COMPETITION 2023.
