About this sake

Ishizuchi is produced by Ishizuchi Shuzo, a brewery based in Saijo City, Ehime Prefecture, using clear water drawn from the Mt. Ishizuchi range, the highest peak in western Japan. This Junmai Ginjo is made with Yamada Nishiki rice from Hyogo and Matsuyama Mirai rice from Ehime, milled to a seimaibuai of 50%. With an alcohol content of 16% and acidity of 1.5, it offers a calm yet refined character suited to accompanying meals. It received a Gold award in the Junmai Ginjo category at SAKE Competition 2023 and has been served as an in-flight sake for ANA international business class.
